Rim-Thang: From chaos to order

What is Rim-Thang about?

Rim-Thang is a mobile application that helps street vendors in Bangkok understand where, when, and how they can operate legally, making compliance clearer, more accessible, and less intimidating.

❋ Context

During a sustainability competition, my group simulated a startup proposing a digital service to the Thai government to manage Bangkok street vending. The service defined approved zones, used AI/CCTV to monitor violations, and provided real-time dashboards for officers and transparency for vendors. This made me want to visualize Rimthang, a vendor-facing mobile app that is part of the solution.

The idea for this project originated from a sustainability competition where my team simulated a tech startup pitching a digital service to a Thai government agency.
